Sun 3.14

The week of running was pretty good.  Nice Tuesday night social run.  Short 5 mile run on Wed.  Another good social run Thur night.  Then the St. Pats run downtown on Saturday with some extra before and after.  Then.....
Sunday! CRAP!  Major pain in my knee!!!  Should have stopped running, or skipped it all together... but no, not me!  Serious pain, had to walk a ton.  Pain still just walking or bending it all day and on Monday.  This sucks!
Headed up to Fleet Feet to talk about the new shoes.  Going back to the old ones for a bit... when I can run again.  Hopefully rest until Thursday.... we'll see.

Sun 3/7

Nice day for a trail run.  Quiver River Park, 6 mile run.  Great trail, nice pace, fun hills.  Need to do these more often.  Not sure how the pace off-road correlates to on road pace... need to research.

Sat 3/6

Damn long run!  18 miles... and started hurtin bad at mile 10.  Not sure what happened different, but was a rough run.  Having Macaroni Grill and ice cream tonight......!

Thur 3/4

Chesterfield social run.  Led it with another guy.... and we were flying (atleast by my standards.)  7 min pace, and felt great!

Wed 3/3

Mid week mid-long run.  8 miles, loop and back through town.  Good route, good pace, good day... overall good run.  Tried to run slow pace at beginning and end, and faster pace in the middle, but didn't exactly work.

St Peters social run, first time.... Hilly course. Tried to keep up with the studs, felt like pace was too much. Only 7:30 pace... Damn.

Sun 2/28

Decided to give the knee and feet a break, did a little cycling.  23 mile ride, comfy pace (16-17 mph).  Felt good, but wish we had pushed harder....doh!
